OPTICABASE HOME

Opticians' software for domiciliary providers without the need for an internet connection. Whether visiting individual patients in their own homes or venues with multiple patients.

Opticabase practice version can be made into a domiciliary version which adds on the functionality of grouping patients into "venues", with particulars for each "venue" and simplifies submission of Pre-Visit Notifications (takes seconds) (PVNs for England).

Opticabase Home is an add on to Opticabase for practices/businesses who wish to use Opticabase when they are out on the road with no internet connection. This is also useful when GOS forms in England need to be signed by a patient while on a home visit. 

Using Opticabase Home you can visit a patient, enter clinical notes and dispenses, fill in GOS forms for sending electronically in England and then easily transfer all the information into Opticabase when arriving back at the practice/office. The data transfer can also be done remotely so that the Optometrist does not need to go into the practice/office at all.

Practical information for setting up networks:

It is best to give each computer the same Username and Password so that they talk to each other more easily on a network (The computer NAMES MUST be different). New computers should be set up as local account and not as Microsoft accounts.
