Four years ago Michael wrote a program, Opticabase for his practices to reduce the time spent by his receptionists filling out the NHS GOS forms and writing Patient recall letters. This has been running successfully for 4 years freeing up his staff to busy themselves with other important duties. He has also since installed it in practices belonging to friends who are very happy with this simple but powerful tool.

As there is a lack of low cost software designed for independent optical practices, Michael decided to offer Opticabase to the profession. For a one off fee you can purchase Opticabase and receive full support in setting up the program as well as 3 months technical support. There are no on-going monthly costs unlike other optical software.

After the initial 3 month period Michael will be happy to sort out any technical problems that you might encounter with his program or provide updates, if for example the format of the NHS forms changes, for a small charge or you can pay a small annual payment to cover all critical updates and technical support.
